The
GAP SuperSwitch™ line of Liquid Level controls incorporates the latest ultrasonic
sensing technology. These units provide a very cost effective solution for even
the toughest point level applications.
Units are available in a range of materials to handle aggressive
and/or corrosive products. With a wide variety of sensor configurations, units
are available for level detection of liquids, bulk solids, and/or liquid
interfaces. Units that are suitable for severe temperature service, from cryogenic
(-300°F) to extremely hot
(750°F) are also available.
The
GAP SuperSwitch™ Liquid Level Switch series is a direct replacement for many other
types of liquid level devices, such as floats and other mechanical gadgets.
They provide reliable operation in virtually any liquid, regardless of
viscosity, eliminating problems from sticky materials and/or concerns with
switch failures due to mechanical wear. With fully epoxy sealed electronics,
combined with "gap" sensing technology, the GAP SuperSwitch™ is
designed for years of maintenance-free service.
GAP
SuperSwitch™ level controls are currently being used by virtually all industrial
process industries including, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical,
environmental, food and beverage and more.
The SuperSwitch™ Liquid Level Switch series is a direct replacement for other types
of liquid level devices. It uses field proven "gap" sensing
technology and solid state integral electronics.
These units provide reliable operation in virtually any liquid,
regardless of viscosity.
Unlike mechanical devices, the SuperSwitch™ has no problems associated with
"stickiness" (high viscosity liquids) or the inherent mechanical
failure due to finite mechanical life.
With fully epoxy sealed electronics, combined with "gap"
sensing technology, the SuperSwitch™ is designed for years of maintenance-free service.

The PSI High Temp Liquid Level GAP Switch is the only ultrasonic switch available today
that can operate with liquids at temperatures of up to 750 0F.
It incorporates a high temperature Titanium Sensor and field proven technology that enables reliable
operation with virtually any liquid regardless of viscosity or aeration.
The High Temp GAP Switch is ideal for application with: Molten Asphalt, Crystallizer Fluids, Molten Salts, and Textile Fiber Melts such as Polyethylene and Nylon.
Requiring no calibration, the High Temp GAP Switch with its
compact design and 3/4" NPT mounting is unbelievably easy to install.
The miniaturized, encapsulated and totally sealed electronics,
housed in a cast aluminum, explosion-proof, watertight enclosure is designed to
provide many years of maintenance-free service.

PSI’s Interface Level Detector is an integral interface switch capable of
detecting the interface of two immiscible liquids. It can also detect the
interface of a liquid and settled solids.
The Interface Level Detector is ideal for application on Single
Point Interfaces such as Oil/Water or Coal
Slurry/Oil, Multi-Point Interfaces, and Slurry or Sludge Density.
The discrimination occurs from the differences in physical
properties of the liquids. The ultrasonic signal is attenuated in one liquid as
compared to another liquid. A multipoint interface sensor version is also
available.
Requiring no calibration, the Interface Level Detector with its
compact design and 3/4" NPT mounting is unbelievably easy to install.
The miniaturized, encapsulated and totally sealed electronics,
housed in a cast aluminum, explosion-proof, watertight enclosure is designed to
provide many years of maintenance-free service.

PSI’s Sludge Blanket Level Switch is the ideal solution
This Sludge
Blanket Level Switch uses proven ultrasonic technology with an all 316 stainless steel
wetted parts sensor. This enables it to operate in virtually any liquid. A
sensitivity adjustment allows the monitoring of percentage solids in the
contents of the liquid.
Its small size standard 3/4" NPT mounting fitting and ability
to be installed vertically or horizontally, makes it the perfect choice for new
or existing applications.
The electronics are housed in a NEMA 4 weatherproof wall mounted
enclosure, and designed to provide many years of maintenance-free service.
