MIC 8200

Microbased 1/4 DIN Dual Display PID Controller

The MIC 8200 is a dual, digital display, microprocessor based, 1/4 DIN instrument. It is designed to control a large variety of process variables while providing an operator with constant visual indication of process and setpoint. The top display may be programmed to show the process variable or deviation from setpoint. The lower display is programmable to show setpoint 1, setpoint 2, or percent output. Clearly visible status indicators are provided for each display, with their resolution programmable for 0 to 3 decimal places, depending upon input type selected. Each instrument may be programmed for on-off, time proportioning, current proportioning, or position proportioning control. The MIC 8200 has an operator selectable scanning rate of one or three scans per second for fast response systems. The Auto Tune function can be used on heating outputs (reverse). A manually tuned cooling output (direct) is also available. The MIC 8200 has dual setpoint capabilities which are easily changed with one key-stroke. Proportional control applications are provided with separate, fully programmable PID parameters. The auto/manual key provides easy one-touch switching from automatic to manual and switching is bumpless. RS - 485 digital communications capability is available for use with a supervisory computer for remote controlling and monitoring. Each MIC 8200 is backed by a 3-year warranty and more than 68 sales and service offices throughout North America and Europe.
