The MIC 6000 is a low-cost high quality member of the Partlow MIC family of microprocessor based digital instruments. The MIC 6000 provides great versatility in a simple, easy to use setpoint profile controller. It can function either as a basic process controller, utilising manual setpoint changes, or it can execute any one of eight setpoint profiles. Each profile can have six ramp (setpoint up or down) and six soak (setpoint remains constant) segments. The MIC 6000 can accomplish more complex profiles, because any number of profiles may be linked together. It will accommodate a variety of thermocouple, RTD, and process inputs, and provides single or dual control outputs and up to three event outputs.
The unit can include two 4-20mA current outputs which can be used for control or optional process value retransmission, and three relay or solid state relay driver outputs which can be used for control or event outputs. The MIC 6000 is used to control or profile temperature or other variables in a variety of applications. These include environmental chambers, plastic processing machines, furnaces and ovens, and packaging machinery. Temperature, pressure, flow, and level are all measured easily by the MIC 6000. Brilliant LEDs provide exceptional visibility. The MIC 6000's large key pad and simple configuration allow for easy programming.
